Laguna de Bavaro - Kayaking, small boat rides, hiking, and bird watching through mangroves and wetlands in this protected area. The lagoon alone covers 1.15 square miles in size.
Bavaro Adventure Park - The area’s newest entertainment park with skywalker, skydiver, zorbing, CrazyBall, Segway tours, pirate ship, climbing garden, bungee trampoline jumping, paintball, and an animatronic dinosaur park.
Scape Park - Located in Cap Cana, this park offers ziplining, dune buggies, off-roading adventures and a dip in the Hoyo Azul lagoon.

Sailing & Fishing - White and blue marlin, billfish, and sailfish tournaments are held from March to September. Cabeza de Toro Yacht Club, the Cap Cana Marina, and the Puntacana Marina are the main bases for sports fishing enthusiasts.
Surfing - The place to go is scenic Macao Beach. There is a highly rated surf school that is especially active on weekends.
Kiteboarding - Playa Blanca is perfect for kiteboarding enthusiasts. Drop by this Puntacana Resort & Club beach and book your lessons. The beachfront restaurant is popular and nighttime events are frequently held there.
Diving - This is where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. The shoreline is lined with soft white sand beaches and the corals offshore form an underwater barrier reef configuration running parallel to the coast. A well-tended coral garden, offshore wrecks, and cave diving are the highlights. The Puntacana Resort and their Ecological Foundation maintain an underwater coral garden off their beach that can be visited.
PUNTA CANA BEACHES
Playa Cabeza de Toro - Cabeza de Toro Beach’s “Blue Flag” European certification guarantees that the beach is always in fantastic shape and therefore is a popular beach for tourists. Cabeza de Toro Yacht Club is a departure point for fishing trips and fishing tournament sites.
Playa Juanillo - Juanillo offers miles of pristine, white-sand beaches with turquoise waters so clear that it is often referred to as one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic. A wide selection of tropical food and drinks, as well as formal events and concerts, are available at Juanillo Beach. Beach activities such as volleyball, snorkeling, kayaking, and horseback riding are also offered by tour operators.
Playa Macao - Very photogenic white sand beach best known for its surfer-friendly swells. Surfing instruction offered by Macao Surf Camp on the beach, especially on weekends. Located on the northern end of Punta Cana.
Playa Bavaro - The most developed section of the East Coast resort strip, the Bávaro area, is dotted with hotels, restaurants, and gift shops right on the beach. The area is one strip of sparkling white sand that extends 30 miles surrounded by coral reefs. Most of this stretch of beach is walkable and is the perfect place to book beach activities, ranging from parasailing to speed-boat riding.
Playa Punta Cana - While the name applies to the entire 50km beach-fronted destination, Punta Cana is also the name of the beach where the area’s resort tourism got its international start when Club Med Punta Cana opened in 1978. The promise of white sands and turquoise-colored waters continues to be delivered here.
